South Dade Family Dentistry

Not even one star! Have to put one star so I can post this. Do not go to this dentist office. First I had two extractions. The doctor put on my chart the wrong tooth. He calls another doctor in what he called a surgeon to pull my teeth. It was the most tragic procedure I have ever been through . I felt everything, the doctor didnt give me enough Novocaine, I was coming up out of my chair he pushed me back down and told me I didnt feel anything that it was just pressure. It was more than pressure I felt like he was trying to pull my brains out of my head it was awful. I have had other teeth pulled none of them like this experience . They had me pay $650 for a bone graft which they never put in and Ive already had another dentist tell me that I need it I have no bone there . They charged me $500 for a temporary partial which they call a flipper, he pulled the wrong tooth of course the original flipper didnt fit. This was on a Friday. Went back on Monday to get my flipper because they had to make a new one the doctor pulled the wrong tooth. So they give me a flipper with only three teeth on one side. The original flipper had teeth on both sides and the woman that runs the front desk confirmed it because I asked her. I decided not to go with a permanent partial. Wanting my money back on the bone graft they charge me $650 they only gave me $500 back. They kept $150 of my money . The office manager switch the plan up on me so they could steal 150 bucks. Well these people havent made anything right. I still have a bad tooth in my mouth, now my temporary partial The Flipper with only three teeth cost me $650 instead of $500. I called the office manager last week to see if they put the teeth that im missing on my Flipper on the other side of course she never got back to me . I recommend to stay away from this establishment the doctor is very incompetent hires people off the street to do his job. And they made a major mistake which they have done nothing to make it right, totally rip me off. What comes around goes around. what they have done is wrong.

I just had a root canal and it was the best experience ever! Super efficient team: Doctor Diaz Valle, Zulema and Katy! There are amazing! Always super appreciate the warm welcoming and follow up with my appointments from Ivonne and Magda! Great customer service you can have!I already had a cleaning 2 months ago and same awesome experience! I’m very satisfied! Thank you South Dade Family Dentistry. I already brought my husband, my mother in law and will refer the more people as I can!

My appointment was rescheduled for the early afternoon. I arrived 20 minutes earlier for my appointment. I did not get seen until one hour and twenty minutes later, ONLY after I complained. The staff claimed to be backed up; however, they did not say anything prior to my complaint. There were no apologies given, nor any commendations provided for my lost time that was on their part. I am very disappointed with my experience at this location. These offices should be filled with professionals and courteous staff. I do not think I would be returning for any kind of service.

Staff, doctor, and cleaning tech were all great! Doc was right on the money with what’s going on in my mouth. Just moved to town from NJ, so glad I found South Dade Family Dentistry and they take my insurance which allot of other dentists do not!

Great staff, very friendly and professional.Dr Carpo examination was great, he explained me the treatment to follow very well, and listened to my questions and doubts.Finally the administration department gave me options with the insurance I have at this moment and advised me how to get the most of it.

In my personal experience, the entire staff- from the front desk to the dental professionals in the back exceeded my expectations. They’re professional, compassionate, and have great bedside manners. They made the experience so comfortable for me. I would highly recommend their services to my family and friends.

I came there to get zoom whitening done and I’m in awe of the difference between before and after. My teeth are definitely white now and I love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I gave it 4 stars due to the dental office had to reschedule my appointment twice. The first time my appointment was rescheduled without me knowing and I arrived to the office to be informed that they had rescheduled me without contacting me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the South Dade Family Dentistry facility. I had to make an emergency appointment for an issue my Dad was having. The staff of this office were not only professional, but also showed compassion and patience. I could not have asked for a better experience while there and truly appreciate everyone we encountered while there. The staff is amazing and the facility is clean and well-kept up.

Made an appointment a week in advance and provided all the insurance information. A day before I talked twice with them over the phone to confirm and ask if everything was ok and they agreed. At the time of my appointment they told me they didn’t have some of my insurance information and told me to wait until they called and solve the issue. I was there for about an hour and once it was solved they told me to wait again since there were other patients. It was a disrespectful way to treat somebody’s time as we all have things to do. The whole purpose of making an appointment is to honor it. Otherwise I’d just walk in. I was never offered a single apology and I’m sure I won’t come back again.

I went in for a consultation and I had a good experience overall. From the quality of the X-Rays, to the patient sign in, to the small details, like the beautiful landscape video playing in the little screen in the examination chair. If you’re like me and you tend to get anxiety when going to the dentist, these might things help you relax.Lastly, the staff was very friendly and made my experience better.I don’t find going to the dentist a pleasurable experience or something I look forward to, but if you want to make going to the dentist suck a little less, I recommend this place.

I needed a surgical procedure done and couldn’t find an available Dentist until Ramiro recommended me to this place. I was in discomfort and pain, the women at the front desk were very helpful and I was seen immediately X-ray, surgery the works. Dr A was fantastic it was a painless and smooth process and the price was right. Will be sending my son over for his wisdom teeth. Highly recommend, thank you.

I had an appointment scheduled for 1130, they called 4 times before my appointment to rush me to come in earlier which I couldn’t then when I did get in the office I received an text saying I was late and they rescheduled me for 11:10 and they skipped me due to me not being on time to an unofficial appointment rescheduled time. And she did not tell the young receptionist the error she made and correct her. I spend my hard earned money at the dentist just to be treated like. That was uncalled for

The office manager remembers you as a client, and details needed for your visit. Dr. Corpas is friendly and gets straight to the point. We have never felt like a number, the entire team cares about the person. We have never felt like the office is trying to upsell us, they consistently provide professional care.

I am very happy of choosing South dade family dentistry the service I received today it was great I felt comfortable they were very professional clean and the doctor is super honest on what service you need, I will recommend it.

Horrible service the dentist didnt even know that all I needed to have done was a replacement filling he sent me to a Root canal specialist which I didnt need. The receptionist was supose to call the root canal dentist office to get the results so I get my filling replacement but its been a week with nothing being done. The other lady in the office at the front desk (the older one) talks over you and does not let you explain what you need. Very rude I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I been going to them for sometime and the staff is friendly and I feel they know what they’re doing . I think mr corpas and team are very skilled . I trust them with my smile. I have some work to be done. I don’t like going to dentist but they make sure I am pain free and explains what they are going to do. I recommend this office I got more work done today and I’m happy about my bridge plus they matched color perfectly. Thank you

I had to give a one because zero is not possible. DO NOT GO HERE. My husband went there and we have had a horrible experience. We should have listened to the reviews. They do not honor contracted insurance fees. In fact they told us our insurance did not cover any of the work he needed. They did. They also add unspecified charges using miscellaneous codes, and charge you for dental work that they made that do not fit. Marlene the dentist wife is in charge of billing. She is the worst and doesn’t tell you the truth about anything. She says one thing and then claims to not remember when you question her later I give this place a negative ten. By the way, check the dentist out for formal complaints. This is not new.

Anna attended the call and she was very rude I am not sure I felt like she was drunk or something. Poor Patient care. Full time HIPPA Violations going on in this clinic. Would definitely report this clinic for insulting and humiliating me over the call.

As usual my dental cleaning was done in a very professional and thorough manner, and with no.pain. Also my interactions with the persons in the office were very warm and pleasant. As always, I actually enjoyed my dental appointment!

I Called the dentist office to schedule a new appointment for my 19 year old daughter . The receptionist first asks me is this her first time. I said yes. Then she asked how old is he I said 19 she proceeds to say oh I don’t think we accept children I said she isn’t a child anymore. Her pediatrician dentist office has recommended her to go to an adult dentist, isn’t that what this dentist office is for? She says please hold let me check. Comes back 5 mins later to ask. What is it that she needs. I said ma’am a dentist. You know a doctor who checks her teeth twice a year and she says but does she need anything else. I said no she needs to see a dentist twice a year and I thought this dentist office could be her new dental office but forget it. It’s too much trouble to take in a new patient We will take our business somewhere else.

My goodness, I came in with high expectations and they were met! The X-rays were done with my comfort in mind. The dentist was very detailed with her recommendation. The cleaning that Ivelice gave me was very detailed oriented. However, the whitening was everything. Ondina took her time to explain the process and made sure that I was comfortable during my hour still stay. She was by my side the entire time (we watched a movie together). I do recommend you take your dental needs to Premier Dental.

Exception service, I was having really bad toothache I called around 1:35pm and was told to get there in 10 minutes because the doctor was leaving soon. I was able to get a emergency tooth extraction, they welcome me with open arms and the doctor was able to help me before he went home. Customer service was awesome, the ladies at the front desk welcome me with open arms.

Great staff! Dr Corpas has been my dentist for well over 15 years and has a great relationship with his patients and staff! The entire office is very helpful and treat you like family...

I am Dr Corpas patient for many years! The staff, is very friendly and professional. From Ivonne and the rest of the front secretaries to the doctor assistants!! They really help you, if you are in pain, and always trying to accommodate an appointment as soon as they can!

Ana is very rude and disrespectful miss treated my mother and myself insulting our intelligence I would never like to call the race card but I will be taking this further at my doctors office Im sure would agree on things were taken too far...EKG to get a tooth pulled. I feel she is not fit to deal with patients well I guess people of our caliber. My mother is elderly we are stunned by the level of insults manner tone and obliviousness and insensitivity. I will be reaching out or finding out why is this acceptable. As stated my mom will not have her tooth 🦷 pulled and the procedure was canceled.

Bad experience at this place. The dental technician could not due a x-ray. The dentist spent little time with me He said that they was going to due more x-rays. When they finish the x-rays., I thought you supposed to see Dennis again. Instead I seen the Financial person. An she told me my visit was free but wanted money for a cleaning.. At my last dentist I was given a Assessment paper with the prices I had to pay for each procedure. Look like they only want money, instead of giving good service….

On the screens in the different patient rooms i was able to see not only my fathers social security number, date of birth and the type of insurance he has but other patients names and the reason why they were there or that their insurance had approved whatever they were getting done. This is a direct HIPPA violation. Technology seems very old. This is very sad because the people were actually nice.

I do not recommend this place. My son had his teeth cleaned and the hygienist only took 15 minutes to get the job done. A good prophylaxis (teeth cleaning) takes 30 to 45 minutes. Do not waste your time at this place. There are plenty of other dental offices.

Amazing staff and Dentist! Very informative and kind. The atmosphere is lovely, and they care for all patients individually. Smiles from the time you enter, until the moment uou leave. Super accommodating.

Probably the most unprofessional dental practice in Cutler Bay. Please read all the negative reviews about this business before contacting them. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago and today when I showed up they told me their system is down and I would have to wait 20 minutes. After waiting 1 hour, I was told it would take an additional 3 to 4 hours for them to update or fix their system. I do not recommend this place, very unprofessional and do not care about the patients time. Also the staff barely speaks English.

I had an appt the doctor showed up 40 minutes late and did not even apologize. Then I got a cleaning and was told that I had to pay 140 for it even with the insurance, and after the dental hygienist told me m teeth were fine, I was informed that I needed to get a 150 in a month, then every 3 months. I asked if I had an issue and was informed that I had a cavity and was going to get a quote for that and that someone would be in in a few minutes. I was there for 3 1/2 hours. when I asked about the quote, i was informed by the secretary who was on the phone about a restraining order for over 20 minutes that I would get a call and that they did not review my papers. It has been a week and a half, still no phone call.

Appointment was at 1 i arrived at 12:45pm left at 2:45pm only having x-rays done and a referral to a specialist i always didnt receive the warm and fuzzy feeling everyone got i was kind of looked over 😕positive the office is nice and clean.

The experience was as expected. The staff was great. I would recomend this place to anyone who has at least one tooth.

This is a gentle dentistry practice. They are experienced, professional, kind and approachable. Like many folks I dont like going to the dentist but I actually look forward to my visits with Family Dentistry. I highly recommend them to adults and children.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Paid for a complete mouth X-Ray out of pocket and have yet to receive my copy via email, even after calling numerous times. I would give this company zero stars if I could but to write a review I was forced to give them one. After going to another dentist (Doral Park Dental Center) that is AMAZING I realized how much they were trying to rob with overpriced charges. Please save your time and money and dont even bother calling to schedule an appointment.

They are top notch from the girls up front to the back great crew, Dr. Corpas is one of a kind , great personality ..be expected to hear it how it is, they keep it honest, thank u guys for taken care of me I will always go back!

Horrible because I can’t think of a better word to describe this office. They are scammers they told me I needed a procedure after figuring out how I was going to pay for it and begin paying . I was told I no longer needed it . When asked about the money I had payed towards it already was given almost a month of a run around to be told that the money I paid was going to be used toward other services that I received that before I no longer needed the dental work was covered by my insurance . HIGHly Do Not Recommended reported the office to BBB .

Im giving just one star because there is no zero option.My mom, diabetic, high blood pressure, 65 years old, was there to check a tooth that was broken,they told her that in order for them to send the order to her insurance another doctor needed to check the x rays, after a week I called and the front desk lady put me on hold for more than 35mnts when finally answer simply told me that the doctor that was supposed to check the xrays and to send the order to my moms insurance was not able to check it and that she needs to wait until wednesday next week to get a response( almost 2 weeks from first visit)This is just non ethical, non human, and regrettable.Please be carefull when you go to this place.

Fraud...Fraud...Fraud. Beware of this dentist office. intentionally diagnose you with something so your co-pay would be higher. But nothing to major so they dont get red flag. Then tries to validate there point by showing you some paper. New Flash!!! Its doesnt matter what that paper said, if im reading something that doesnt apply to me just your false diagnosis ( Money Grab). Even when ask for a simple cleaning. ( One my insurance covers) They denied me. Told me a simple cleaning is just them flossing my teeth. I wish I read the review before coming here.

Horrible and very confusing. I feel like they are full of fraud and just try to convince you to get procedures and pay crazy amount. I just went in for a cleaning and I shouldn’t have paid anything but I had to pay 25.00 for a PPE that the workers are to be wearing. I shouldn’t have to pay for the PPE they wear. They called it the PPP (personal protective equipment) with my understanding it’s PPE not PPP so I don’t know who they are trying to confuse. I needed to get one small chip tooth fixed and they wanted to charge me a crazy amount for something so tiny. So I said I will go to my orthodontist and they told me he won’t do it for me. He filled it for me once what makes you think he won’t do it again it being so little. Not wasting my money here and I will be going elsewhere. I still can’t believe I spent 25.00 for equipment that the workers have to wear.

Had my teeth cleaned today and the dental hygienist is always so efficient and nice. Environment was clean and Yvonne at the desk is always so pleasant toInteract with.

What a waste of time going to this dentist office. So we were a little worried on going to office after reading the reviews, but they had availability and figured we would give them the benefit of the doubt. But they are scammers. Please stay away. We should of done the same 🙁.

I have never seen a bigger liar and thief in my life. Even with dental insurance, every cleaning this dentist does is considered a deep cleaning which is the same exact thing except with a $140 out of pocket fee. The 350 pound tall blonde woman will say ANYTHING to make you pay tremendous amounts of money for things you dont need, or could get somewhere else for a third of the price. They will even lie to you and tell you You have to sign up for this Care Credit card right now and if you dont they might actually knock your teeth in themselves. So if you want a to get ripped off by obese, hideous and rude people Id highly recommend this place.

Dr. Alfredo Corpas was confident, safe and gave me every reason to call him my dentist for the long term. A good dentist is hard to find, believe me this one is great! I had several cavities, and a root canal. Dr Corpas and his team did an amazing job of patching me up, reducing pain and swelling. I was back to 100% much quicker than I thought. Definitely pick Dr Corpas and tell him I said so!

Very friendly atmosphere, Dr and assistant make you feel very comfortable, and best of all, my problem was solved!

Everything was good and I am going back in the future staff was very helpful and polite.

DONT GO HERE.......I went in with my bottom right molar killing me and after having x-rays the Dentist said it was my upper right molar that had an abscess and I would need to get a root canal. She gave me a referral to get the root canal done. After thinking about what the dentist said I called the dentist office back and said its not my upper right molar that is bothering me but the dentist wouldnt return my calls. Went and got a second opinion and sure enough it was my bottom right molar not the upper right molar that was bad. The dentist said the tooth was cracked and it had an abscess and there wasnt any saving it. He pulled the tooth right there and finally I was out of all that pain. The dentist at Southdade Family & Dentistry left me hanging for a week in severe pain with the wrong diagnosis.

Dr Corpas and his team was amazing. Im not a big fan of going to the Dentist and they made it a really good experience. They were also extremely fair with their pricing.

They took good care of me and were friendly. I have recommended others to them.

Very unprofessional staff they always come up with a different story every time you go into the office one minute it’s all your cover the next minute it’s all you owe money the next minute is all we just got this information in so we have to cancel your appointment and change it for a different day Then you have the dentist wanted to do work just to shut you up that is not what you should be getting it is just a very bad place to go I do not recommend going to this place they have very bad attitudes very unprofessional And also they always try to up your co-pay as an example my co-pay was $137 per tooth they were trying to charge me $275 per tooth I’m not I’m trying to tell me oh I’m giving you a deal of $150 a tooth if you do it right now with my co-pay is 137 fraud fraud fraud very dangerous

Fraud...Fraud...Fraud. After they said my insurance doesnt pay for anything, I asked for the treatment plan which they had me sign, so that I can verify with my insurance and was told NO that I could not get a copy of it. Also said that I had to get a 400 dollar cleaning before they can fill my cavity. Lies.... Beware of this dentist office.
